Trumpower has introduced the TTG200 series of GaN FET ac-dc power adapters, designed to target industrial and ITE applications.

With an average efficiency of 91-93%, the 200W power adapter complies with DoE Level VI, while offering a no-load power consumption of 0.15W max.

The power adapter comes in a 15×5.4×3.3cm enclosure with an IEC 320/C8 AC inlet or a 16.1×5.4×3.3cm case with an IEC 320/C14 AC inlet. The power supply has a range of 8 standard single output voltages between 12-56VDC.

The series operates with an input range of 100-240VAC and operating temperatures between 0-70°C ambient. It derates linearly from 100% load at 40°C to 50% load at 60°C (for the 12V output model) and from 100% load at 40°C to 50% load at 70°C (for the 18V-56V models).

Its power density is 12.5W/in3. Trumpower claims the units have 300,000 hours minimum MTBF at 25°C ambient, calculated per Telcordia SR-332.

The TTG200 series carries the CE marking, is RoHS compliant, and is approved by UL/cUL and TUV to ITE standards, in addition to EMC and immunity standards.

It also meets energy star 2.0, ErP stage 2, CoC tier 2, NRCan & GEMS level VI standards.
