Lian Li has once again ensured you can get maximum RGBness from your system, by banishing those boring non-emitting PCIe and ATX power cables with their Strimer Plus V2 ARGB cable kits.  The new The Lian Li Strimer Plus V2 has three different offerings, one is a 200 mm 24 pin ATX cable, one with a pair of 300mm 6+2 PCIe cables called the Strimer Plus V2 8-Pin and for the extremely power hungry a single Strimer Plus V2 Triple 8-Pin kit that provides three 6+2 PCIe power cables.

The 24 pin ATX kit comes with a controller, which draws power from a SATA port, and a small plug to connect to your motherboard lighting control. The controller also comes with a Micro-USB to USB 2.0 header adapter so you can control your lighting via the Lian Li L-Connect 3 app if you like.  There are two ports to connect the PCIe cables to which will power and control the lighting on those, though only one can be active at a time.

There are some warnings about running your all your cables as pure white, as it could cause a concerning amount of power draw, however as TechPowerUp couldn’t get hold of the manual for any of the Strimer Plus V2 ARGB cable kits at publishing, this may not be the case.

Call it K7M.com, AMDMB.com, or PC Perspective, Jeremy has been hanging out and then working with the gang here for years. Apart from the front page you might find him on the BOINC Forums or possibly the Fraggin' Frogs if he has the time.
